The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major shifts in our lifestyle, particularly in the social dynamics we experience every day. With the departure of the traditional get-together to accommodate for pandemic living, we have had to find new ways to meet up with one another. With abundant restrictions and precautions have come a revival of camping out in front of the house and chatting it up with the neighbors, and with this comes the rejuvenation of the front yard.
Gone are the days of restricting outdoor activity to the backyard; the front yard is what’s in! Some changes are as simple as investing in some Adirondack chairs, hanging a few flower baskets, a cheery welcome sign or even just a fresh stain on a front porch. However, some also go to further extremes, such as major porch renovations, putting in entire front-facing patios, or overhauling landscaping to provide natural gathering areas. Investing in larger front yard face lift projects can also result in an increase in the value of your home!
